Missing Fisher Children
« on: Saturday 25 January 20 18:03 GMT (UK) »
Hi
I am looking for some help with my tree!
My Great Great Grandmother Rosa Elliot Ellen Reynolds (B 1856 Bedford) married Samuel Crick Fisher in Tottenham in1885. The 1911 census shows they had 8 children although 5 died. Constance (born before they married and with the surname Reynolds), Beatrice (1886), Samuel Bertie (1887) are the surviving children. However I have so far not confirmed the 5 that died. 3 that I can confirm that they are correct because it states mum's maiden name as Reynolds are: Ernest (1888), Percy Marsh (1889) & Walter John (1996). The other 2 I cant confirm! I suspect they are born between 1890 & 1895 as there is a gap in years there. Whilst there are lots of Fisher children, I cant confirm them. They were all listed as Edmonton, Middlesex.
Any help to confirm them with mum Reynolds would be appreciated.
Thanks

do you have access to Ancestry.  It looks like Percy was buried at Chingford cemetery, there are other records on there with images.

Hi Carolyn
Yes I do have Ancestry. Thanks for the link to being more specific with Chingford Mount. I had found Percy & Ernest with the same. I guess the only way forward now is to check all of those to see if the actual birth record shows a mothers maiden name and hope that Reynolds is listed.
Thanks for your help

the records are really odd as there are random pages missing, all of them are the ones that your 3 are on! I had located them in the hope of getting an address, I wonder how pages are missing when they are in a book.  Maybe damaged.

It is looking likely that they would be there also, but too many Fishers, if they were stillborn, they may not even have been named.
