A witness is Elizabeth Dowzard. Were the children raised by their mother’s family?

Thanks again.
To clarify.
The death of Edward aged 22. He was John and Susan's son.
I am not aware of any of the American Boshells.
Elizabeth Dowzard was Susan's sister. She was unmarried.
I have no idea if the family lived at Cork St. with the Dowzards.
In 1901 of course they would not have been children.

Elizabeth does appear to be quite elusive  ???

There is this  May 1897 probate for a Lizzie Boshell, beneficiary’s name Ellie Boshell - no age for Lizzie
http://www.rootschat.com/links/01ovu/

Looking for a death record there's this  for 18th February 1897 shows
Elizabeth Boshell age 46 (1851) - so not your Elizabeth  ???
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1897/05875/4666054.pdf

Trying to cover all possible angles just in case she's with one of her siblings

Do you have Annie or James Boshell on 1901 census?

You may already have looked at these records but just in case....

Possibly Annie 1901

1901 Annie BOSHELL age 22 Dublin , single, Parlor Md Domes Ser

1911 Annie KANE age 32 Dublin

1939 Annie & husband are in Blackpool Lancashire, their son is married and living in Cheshire
Herbert Boswell Kane married on 5 Aug 1933 Crumpsall Manchester

I haven’t seen a death for John but you say he died in 1887. The children would have been young then and I thought you may know from family history if the children were boarded out or taken into an institution.
