posting from Gro to USA
« on: Wednesday 15 January 20 22:03 GMT (UK) »
Just a quick question .

I (UK) am helping someone from USA with their tree and they will  need to order a marriage certificate from the GRO. Does the standard postage  ie  cost of £11 include it being posted to their address in USA or does it cost more?

Thanks

It's quick and easy to order birth, marriage, civil partnership, death, adoption and commemorative certificates online via the government's own official website.

Certificates cost from £11.00 including postage.
In a hurry? Use the priority service from £35.00

It should cover any location. I never had to pay extra when I was ordering from Norway.

The only extra I have to pay is a 41 cents "Foreign Transaction Fee" from my US Credit Card. I can just about afford that. I am a "Deadbeat" which translates into English as a person who pays their Credit Card off in full and on time every month. So that's all they get from me.

Thank you everyone. I thought that was the case but just wanted to make sure.
