This is a bit of a long shot I know but I was wondering if anyone had a photograph of my grandmother. She was born Emily Elizabeth Penney in 1886, St Saviour, Surrey. She was married 4 times firstly to William John or John William Farmer, marriage details unknown, (2) William Dudley, marriage details unknown, (3) Albert Edward Jacobs 31st March 1919, Kennington, London and (4) Sidney Page, 1933, Lambeth, London. Any advice will be greatly received.

Thanks Rosie99. I am aware of this marriage. My grandmother often used the surname Farmer. I doubt she was married to William Dudley and therefore ignored the fact that she had three children with him and reverted back to Farmer before she married Albert Jacobs.

As you are looking for a photo it may be a good idea to post some details of possible children of Emily who would not still be living or mention where she was living when married so anyone researching the family via online search engines would find your post.

Have you looked at the surname interests - link at the bottom of this page

This struck a bit of a cord with me, as I had no photos of my grandparents ( born 1894-6) when they were young. Their families were far too poor to have photos taken.
So I was delighted to find pictures of one grandfather and all his siblings in a booklet published by their local chapel ( young men's study groups, girls' bible class etc). I found the booklet in the local history dept of our library.
The same chaps also featured in a book published about the history of a local running club, of which they were founder members in 1907. Tbey ran for prize money and were sponsored by local wealthy business men.
A real thrill to see my grandad in his younger days.
I hope that Danielle is similarly lucky.
