Laughlin/Scott Family - Antrim
« on: Tuesday 14 January 20 03:50 GMT (UK) »
Looking for some information on Henry Laughlin & Anna Scott, from Antrim Town.

Not sure of when they were married, just know they had a daughter, Anna, around 1930?

I also happen to know that the author Alexander Irvine was a relative to either Henry or Anna, I’m not sure which!

Any help much appreciated!

They look to have married on the 10th April 1922 in Antrim district. She as 'Annie' rather than 'Anna'.

You can register then pay to view the certificate, for a small cost, at https://geni.nidirect.gov.uk

Welcome to RootsChat  :)

As scotmum said, they were married in 1922.
M/1922/G1/2506/6/251     Henry Laughlin & Annie Scott       10th April 1922       Antrim

The civil marriage record is available via GRONI online at the following link, and you will need to open an account and buy some credits. Choose the "full" option (5 credits £2.50) and it lets you see the digitised image of the original:
