Yes, that looks like them, I had Arthur Bitton on a census in 1911 for a ship called ss dagenham, aged 47. I was sent that info from a diving historical society. How strange ! Everything else fits in the "Britton" entry apart from Arthur's place of birth which was Norfolk, I have his birth certificate.

Census forms are usually distributed by the enumerator ahead of time. Maybe he was at home at this time and completed it. He then went to sea so there were two entries for him. This happens in quite a few cases, so is not unusual.  The son was entered too but was scratched out - or, maybe, the wrong Arthur was deleted!
