My FindMyPast sub ended a few days ago, today I got an email offering 50% discount. I think I'll wait and see how far they'll go. :D

Some libraries have free access to some of the Find My Past records  :)

I let my sub expire a few days ago hoping they would offer me a discount.  I also had an email yesterday offering me 50% discount with a promo code ending 2nd July.

I am going to take it as I don't think they will go any further (and I'm not very good at holding my nerve  ::))

I've had to buy a new fridge after trying to save money by getting it repaired only to have the engineer say 'no way' and charging me for it! >:(. So I won't be renewing just yet. Unless, of course, they offer me a ridiculous  90% off.  ;D ;D :P

I renewed yesterday. Was offered 50% as a "loyal" customer. Phoned up and pleaded poverty so they gave me another 15% off. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
