My 2 month in transit one was also recent, circa 2004. I guess the  new orders are getting bumped to top of the pile!

It isn't entirely unheard of for customer service recovery to dump already overdue work into a 'recovery' team and for other staff to process new work as normal. That way you minimise the total number of people impacted by the delay and have fewer unhappy/angry customers to deal with. And as a manager you can demonstrate capability to do the normal work whilst showing the delays and problems were down to external factors. I don't know if this is what is going on with Find a will, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is.

Apologies if delivery of my Will so rapidly has delayed yours slightly more.  :)

I now have confirmation that Wakefield have my Will - so if push comes to shove, I can order it from them, but will have to pay £10.00.  BUT as I have obtained a number of wills at £1.50 instead of £10.00  :-\ :-\ :-\

Quite possible!

Haha oops, sorry if I sounded like I implied your order delayed mine at all! The new £1.50 is too good to miss out on!

Don't worry, I was saying it with a smile. Perhaps I should have used a wink instead.

We are all winners and victims of the new pricing policy, once things settle down I'm sure it will be fine for everybody.

I ordered 2 wills on 9th Nov, one received yesterday (16 days late) and still waiting for the other.

Hit the jackpot with the one I received, 2 children and one grandchild (2nd cousin) fully named  :)  Now to plug this into my tree.

I have now ordered the same will twice, and received the same message that some of the information is incorrect or missing.  On the second occasion I contacted them - 3 December 2019 - and received acknowledgement the same day with a hint of a response within the next 2 days, but not received.  I have contacted them again, detailing the order number, date of death, date of probate, probate office and added the page number from the index.  Should they require it I did a "snip" of my order and the image from the page.

I may not hold my breath in anticipation of a response.  :)

I've now heard from them - they've found it and will forward it  :D :D

How do you know when they are due to be received?

I ordered two on 11 December, but there is no clue in the acknowledgement as to possible delivery date.  it just says: Your order has been received. We will email you when your order is available to be viewed.
