John Tuckwood bap 1720/30
« on: Saturday 07 December 19 12:57 GMT (UK) »
Afternoon all.
Could anyone see if they can find a marriage between John Tuckwood and Elizabeth (no surname) about 1745-1757 either Lincolnshire, Leicestershire or Nottinghamshire, please?
Could be Grantham, Melton Mowbray or Nottingham.
Thanks
Maggie

Thanks Billy, but it's definitely Elizabeth. I found a bap. of William Tuckwood 12th Feb 1757,my ancestor, parents John and Elizabeth at Lincs archives registered at Witham-on-the-Hill Lincs. Just trying to find their marriage but maybe I need to go to the archives.

An earlier post stated that William was born in Manthorpe but baptised in Witham. However, there is no record of this and it was only a suggestion by the Lincs. Archives.

In fact, this is the wrong Manthorpe. There is another one north of Grantham.

Marriage date: 13 Jul 1779 at Welby
