Just to clarify though, John Parry c1791 did not marry, but he had a son Henry parry c1825? I see he's living with his sister in the 1851 census you sent a link to. Is there a chance he was widowed??

It says he was unmarried on both of  the Family Search census transcriptions  that I looked at. I'll see if I can find the images.

Family search is good for censuses. Other records are a mixture - Family Search/GRO/Free BMD and local records e.g North Wales BMD

Unmarried (U) on both censuses - see 1851 snip below.

I'll also check for Henry (1825)'s baptism

Nothing showing for a baptism. He could be under his mother's surname or a non-conformist baptism.

Yeah, I seen John on the 1861 census and he is unmarried on that too...
Could Henry have been adopted?
Don't suppose you have anything on Henry Percival's wife? Ellen Catherine Evans born 1902 do you??
I searched her, but there's a few to choose from. i'm never sure which one to go with

DragonT might have more local info.

It's unlikely that it would be an adoption - either his illegitimate son or a possible son of another member of the family. It's difficult to say for certain. Wills might help but he died after 1858 so might not be on the Welsh Wills site.

It might be worth looking for Catherine on the 1911 census on Family Search:

https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1921547

I'll have another look later.

Yeah, that could be her.
She has her birthday as 13th May and her death as 1995, but she wasn't 100%

I think, maybe, you might have to buy Ellen's birth certificate to get any further. It's possible that her father was William Evans and mother was Maggie Williams but I can't be sure.
