My Great-Grandfather, Ernest David Stevens, immigrated to South Africa somewhere between 1881 and 1891.
Much to my disappointment I have not been able to ascertain where he sailed from, where he arrived or on what ship he sailed.
He was 15 in 1881 and lived in Eastbourne, East Sussex.
He married my Great Grandmother, Jessie Georgina Connock, in Grahamstown, South Africa in 1895.
Does anyone have access to immigration, shipping records or passenger lists, that might be able to help me with the above.
