The word "Southesk" looks out of place - do you agree that is what it is?

"ne" looks to be on that line

This is the word I have questioned.

It's either Sed?ler or Sod?ler.

Robert Childer's occupation is sadller or sedller, both possible spelllings of saddler.

The letters (nr? mr?) at the side seem to be a red herring.
