Hi, ive bought some scotlandspeople credits and wish to ask the professional before i waste those credits about some missing family members. I've done some searches but cant find the reliable death dates of the following people.
john morrow, had children with jean wilson 1827 - 1858, John supposedly died around 1878, a coast guard.
samuel ferguson born 1822 kirkmaiden
john ferguson born 1813 probably married sarah thompson, old luce
william ferguson born 1807 kirkmaiden
Elizabeth Wilson born 1828 wigtown.
any help with one or two of these would be greatly appreciated. i just want to match a death date to buy the cert. Tia.

So John Morrow was having children with Jean Wilson for 31 years.  As her husband or otherwise??

Have you looked on the censuses for when these people last appeared then searched for a death between the relevant censuses?  Apart from birthyears you haven’t given any census info.

Anybody else looking on SP will have exactly the same issue - you have to spend credits to check if you have the right entry when there is more than one match

1851 & 1861 - no William or Samuel Ferguson b Kirkmaiden or Wigtownshire

So when was John Morrow born and where?  What censuses do you last have each of the people named on?

Who did Elizabeth Wilson marry - if she married?

You think John Ferguson married Sarah Thompson - no 1851 entry to support that and no John Ferguson b 1813 Wigtownshire
