Looking for Stephen Ramsay Brown

I'm trying to find any information on a Stephen Ramsay Brown whose death was registered in the Blackpool & Fylde Registration District in September of 1997.

He was born in the Spalding area of Lincolnshire in October 1925, two sources give the actual date as the 13th or the 30th.

The last information I have on him is from the 1939 Register which shows him living in Hendon, Middlesex with his parents Septimus Ramsay Brown & Hilda Sophia Humphrey. Various sources suggest that they did not marry and that she also died in the Blackpool area. Septimus died in Lancaster in 1977.

Family rumour suggests that Stephen became a bank manager in Lancashire, possibly in Blackpool or Lancaster.

Any information would be appreciated.

If you have seen the 1939 registration then you know that Hilda married a man named Knott her surname has been changed from Brown to Knott.

Septimus Ramsay Brown 25 November 1896 -1977 birth from death registration his parents are George Brown and Sarah Ramsay

George Brown 1st married Isabella Ramsay 1882 registered Sunderland they had daughter Sarah Hannah 1883.
George Brown married 2nd Sarah Ramsay 1887 registered Sunderland, they had Mary Jane 1888 died 1895 age 7, Ruth 1890, George circa 1893 (I didn't look up his registration) and Septimus.

Septimus R Brown married Mary E G Cairns 1918 registered Hexham Northumberland.

Thank you amondg & chempat for the information. Yes, I did know about Hilda's marriage to Knott. Hilda S. Humphreys married George T. Knott in 4th Qtr 1945 in Blackpool RD.

Septimus married a second time in June 1945 in Lancaster, to a Joyce Billsdon. So it appears likely that Septimus, Hilda and Stephen moved to Lancashire from Hendon, possibly together, sometime between 1939 and 1945.
