Looking for Doris Day

Doris Lucy Judden Day was born on 5 May 1899 in Little Hallingbury. Her parents were Julia nee Prior and George Day. I have her in 1901 and 1911 with her parents but nothing after that. there are 17 Dorises with the same birth date in 1939 but no Doris L J or even Doris L. I can't find an obvious match on Marriage or Death indexes either.
Can anyone please find Doris?
Berks / Oxon: Eltham, Annetts, Wiltshire (surname not county), Hawkins, Pembroke, Partridge
Dorset / Hants: Derham, Stride, Purkiss, Sibley
Yorkshire: Pottage, Carr, Blackburn, Depledge
Sussex: Goodyer, Christopher, Trevatt
Lanark: Scott (soldier went to Jersey CI)
Jersey: Fowler, Huelin, Scott

There is a Doris (L) in 1939 just one year out and a corresponding marriage in 1945 as Doris L I Day

There is a marriage between a Doris L Day and a Lewis C King in the Edmonton district  September Q. 1923, 3a, 1376.

The 1945 marriage appears to be the right one
