Hi

Not sure if this post has duplicated - a few technical problems!

Looking at the various posts above, there seems to be a bit of confusion.  The Rev. Thos Poole is not the same as the Tom Poole who was a friend of Coleridge, Philanthropist etc from Nether Stowey. Tom was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth, brother to Richard and Sarah and cousin to the Rev John Poole from Enmore. Together they founded the school in Nether Stowey.

I have quite a detailed family tree for this Poole family (my husband's)  - a lot of it on paper which I am trying to put in order.

Anything I can help with, please ask.

I would be delighted to know the details of your husband's POOLE family tree.

I am not at all surprised that the Rev Thos Poole is NOT the same as Tom Poole, friend of Coleridge, as it transpires that the surname "Poole" is about the one hundredth most COMMON name in England!

with best wishes

Imison
