Liverpool Lookup - William Thomas Banks and Mary Reynolds marriage 1940

Hi

Just wondering if anybody is going to Liverpool Records Office and whether they could see what details are held for the above marriage. It took place at St Columba, Anfield in the 4th Quarter of 1940

Mary is on the 1939 register with parents.  Look for her under Reynolds born 1916 and you will find it also shows Banks

Child born 1942 - see freebmd

Death of William Thomas Banks b 14.2.1915 Dec 1987 Liverpool V 36 P 587

You will find his birth on freebmd mmn Alexander.  Parents marriage on freebmd 1908

Thanks so much for your prompt response.

I didn't know my dad had been married before he married my mum until I discovered Mary's name on my granddads / grandmothers grave in Anfield cemetery. I just haven't got around to investigating further. Based on the info that you have supplied, it looks like I had another older brother William T who only looks to have lived for several months...I've just found his death in 1st quarter 1943. Mary died in 1945. As this predates the grave (my grandfather died in 1945 also), it raises the question of where the child was buried.  My dad married my mum in 1947..first child...William.
What is the 1939 register that you see Mary with her parents? Is it viewable online?
