My brick wall, help needed

Hello all

As my title suggests, I have a brick wall. This is what I know. My 4xggf was called Samuel Burton, he died in 1850 in Leeds, Yorkshire. The 1841 census shows him with his wife Lucy nee Lofthouse, both born in county. Samuel appears in the trade directories as a joiner living in Leeds. Samuel married Lucy at All Saints, Wakefield in 1803.

My problem is I am unable to prove that any born between 1770-1780 are my Samuel, does anyone have any other ideas?

Where and when did Samuel & Lucy marry.  Do you have Lucy in 1851, if so what is her place of birth

Born Leeds for Lucy I think.  There is a Lucy Burton age 70 widow living alone 19 Bath St Leeds in 1851.
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
Pick - Frocester Glos

I see that Samuel's age was given as 74 on his Mar qtr 1850 death registration.

I know all the info on Lucy and her twin sister Hannah, born in Barwick in Helmet. My stumbling block is Samuel.

It helps us to know where Lucy comes from when looking for Samuel  :)

The Lofthouse family all come from around Netherton. My own personal inclination is Samuel is related to the Burtons of Rothwell, but again cannot prove any of it.
