T'yr Cwm farm, Llandyfaelog

Does anyone know where the T'yr Cwm farm in Llandyfaelog, Carmarthenshire is located?  I just discovered that my ancestor Keturah Vaughan was born there and I am coming to Wales in one week.  I would love to know where she was born to maybe be able to see the farm for myself.  I would appreciate any help you can give me.  Thanks.

Searching addresses in the 1861 there is a Tyr Cwm in the hamlet of Moelfre in the parish of Llandyfaelog  which I think ties in with this property https://maps.nls.uk/view/102179510#zoom=5&lat=2203&lon=7744&layers=BT

Well found Kay.  I looked all over but couldn’t find.p the farm. Obviously not looking in the right place.

Me too. I love exploring maps. 

I don’t know what is hiding beneath those trees, though sadly, it doesn’t look too encouraging. 

I had a brief google street view jaunt along a nearby road, noticed a driveway to a fairly dilapidated house, and wondered if there is any trace of T’yr Cwm, it might be in a similar or worse state. Looking at the maps, I’m not sure how to get to it. It could be worth resu have a good poke around, and maybe even asking some neighbours if any of them remember a house there. 

There look to be a lot of new builds in the area. Nice part of the world though.

Yes - looking on Bing Maps the Ordinance Survey layer (shows the public footpaths) still shows the building although as Ruskie says it may very dilapidated.   

Access to building appears be from Croes-y-ceiliog  via by a Public Footpath/track located by the village post box/phone box
