There is an item in the Northampton Mercury. (Mar. 14, 1840) about a Benjamin LOVERIDGE at Fenny Stratford. Sounds like it could be your man.

There is also an item about Jane LOVERIDGE (wife of Moses LOVERIDGE, tinker) in Hertford Mercury and Reformer. (Feb. 25, 1865). It's probably too big to post here but if you would like a copy, send me a pm.  :)

Modified to add:
Also an item about Robert LOVERIDGE, tinker of Little Brickhill in Berkshire Chronicle. (Dec. 27, 1856).

If you click on the little icon that looks like a page (next to the one that looks like a person) under my profile picture it should lead to you to create a personal message to me. (I've messaged you  ;) )
