You're welcome, Richard. :) I use Photoshop Elements; I think most people on here use either Elements, Photoshop or GIMP, various versions.

Photoshop is the best software, but it has become costly. GIMP is a great alternative, plus it is free! There is a plethora of tutorials on Youtube, even for very beginners. It's worth a try!

paint.net is also FREE and there are tutorials and loadsa plug-ins for extra effects, however, I also have GIMP which does much more if you can master all the controls ... a long steep learning curve, but do-able due to the lockdown's enforced leisure time  ... my neglected garden is now officially a jungle ( due to West of Scotland more than is necessary rain.)

See if you peer with one eye closed .... it becomes prettier, in the same manner that people look better the drunker you get
