Thank You So Much for your time and effort, Annie65115. I have been following this thread because there was an Edward Fawxe (or perhaps two) of Long Clawson who had son Thomas Fawxe baptized Dec. 18, 1595, another son Thomas baptized Nov. 1, 1598, and a Thomas buried there Aug. 26, 1602. I was hoping that one of these Thomas sons had survived to become my ancestor Thomas Fauke/Fouke/Fowke, who would have been married to Dorothy Cham at the Church of St. Lawrence in Heanor and perhaps living in Holmgate, North Wingfield by 1625, but he does not seem to be a son of this Edward, unless there was another Edward in Long Clawson with surviving sons named Thomas. You never know where these ancestors may turn up!
