Will of Edward Fauxe 1617 Long Clawson

Does anyone have access to the will of Edward Fauxe 1617 Long Clawson please?  I am particularly interested in names, dates and occupations.

Something along those lines is available on FindMyPast. But I find it very difficult to read --it's written in a really flourishing secretary script and I think is in Latin. Someone else here may be able to read it.

I don't think it's a will, either, but looks like a list of letters of admin that include one re Edward.

The only extra thing to add is that he was "Edward Fauxe Snr" -- implying there was a jnr as well -may be helpful?

The will itself (in English) is on FindMyPast, indexed as Edwarde Fanker Sr – his name is actually written Edwarde Faukes thelder.

Having spent the time finding it, I’m afraid I now don’t have time to transcribe it, but someone else with access might.

Why doesn't the OP post the image(s) on here, on the Handwriting Deciphering Board, as people usually do, then many people would be able to help, including those who are unable to access findmypast.

Unfortunately I don't have access to the will so am unable to post it on the Handwriting Deciphering Board myself.  If anyone is able to help and do this for me it would be hugely appreciated.

The general gist is as follows:

Edwarde Ffaukes -- then a word which i think describes his occupation, but which I can't decipher - and place looks like Clayton, in the county of Leicester; will written on the 20(?) of Sept 1625. He wished to be buried in the churchyard of "Clayton".

Named beneficiaries: Daughter Margarett Atkinson.
Margerett's son and husband, both called John Atkinson.
His "Natural son" Edward Ffaukes.
His cousin Edwarde  (can't read this surname).
"my" Elizabeth -- there appears to be a word missing here, his what? it doesn't say! Elizabeth's surname looks like Cmaley which can't be right.
Dorothy the daughter of John Atkinson
His daughter Agnes Ffoukes, who is the sole executrix.
his brother Henrye Ffoukes
His cousin Edwarde Moore (note this surname is very clear and looks totally different from the cousin Edwarde that I couldn't decipher above).

As you see, I make no claim to being good at reading secretary hand. But the will is a lot clearer that the probate, and is in English!

I have been following this thread because there was an Edward Fawxe (or perhaps two) of Long Clawson who had son Thomas Fawxe baptized Dec. 18, 1595, another son Thomas baptized Nov. 1, 1598, and a Thomas buried there Aug. 26, 1602. I was hoping that one of these Thomas sons had survived to become my ancestor Thomas Fauke/Fouke/Fowke, who would have been married to Dorothy Cham at the Church of St. Lawrence in Heanor and perhaps living in Holmgate, North Wingfield by 1625, but he does not seem to be a son of this Edward, unless there was another Edward in Long Clawson with surviving sons named Thomas. You never know where these ancestors may turn up!

Apologies for the tardy response (I've been away for a few days).  Very many thanks Annie for taking the time and trouble to help with this.  I am on the same quest as Cham and the information you have gleaned is most welcome.  I am a little puzzled though as there appear to be two separate documents one dated 1617 and one dated 1625?
