To my surprise the FindMyPast site has a 50% off offer for their Premium subscription open only to 6th of this month. £156 down to £80 billed as single payment, dont forget to cancel auto renewal and save their email

I may give FindMyPast  a go this winter- have found Ancestry poor for Scottish Records now no longer able to view Census return etc.

If you mean official records, there's no site apart from scotlandspeople where you can view official Scottish BMDs/Census.

You may be lucky in finding some of those uploaded by users to FH sites such as ancestry & attached to their trees.

I was emailed about this offer and i am tempted to dive back in. At this moment in time i am particularly interested in newspapers and i have been sitting tight for an offer for the British Newspaper Archive. Can anyone tell me how far removed the Newspapers archive on FindMyPast are from BNA? and is the search facility similar? thanks.

Thanks to other forum members for adding the offer, its beyond me how this could be added from an email. I has enquired about subs & any offers from  FindMyPast a few weeks ago  then this popped up.
