I recently started researching this line again and just found this thread.
I have never been able to trace the birth of John Christian or his marriage to Jane, so have wondered if he could have been born outside the UK. Being a mariner, that would not have been unlikely.
I have found 6 children of John and Jane, apparently all born in the Holborn Lying-in Hospital. The first 4 seem to have been non-conformist baptisms, but the last 2 were at St Mary-le Bone Parish Church.
After the last one in 1819, there is a gap of 5 years before what would seem to be a 7th child: John Christian - mother Sarah - also baptised at St Mary-le Bone Parish Church.
