What was his age when he got married in 1888? You should be able to trace him on the censuses.

There is this possible birth entry for Alexader in 1860 www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XYTL-Q9K

Fits with his age in the censuses after he married. From 1891:

Alexander Park 30 Sewing Machine Agent b. Lonmay Aberdeenshire
Barbara Park 21 b. Pitsligo, Aberdeenshire
Alexander Park 1 Pitsligo, Aberdeenshire
Christina Cook 57 b. Pitsligo, Aberdeenshire

Address: 37 High St, New Pitsligo, Tyrie

1901, the family in now at 39 High Street. Alexander is working as Public Hall Keeper.

Barbara and Alexander look have called one of their sons Peter, showing as aged 4 in 1901.

Some early census entries to consider;

This entry in 1861:

Jane Park 34  Ploughman's Wife b. Old Deer
Alexander Park 3 b. Longside
Jane Park 1
Elizabeth Gray 77

Address: 36 South St, Longside

This could be Alexander in 1871. Alexander Park, 13, general servant b. Lonmay. He is working at the Upper Mill Farm in Gamrie Banff for farmer Francis Fowlie.

1881 has an Alexander Park, 23, b. Lonmay showing as an unemployed farm servant visiting a farm called Upper Bogtamma in Auchterless.

These seem to be the closest possibilites for him but need following through...

That's him alright, wow, thank you so much for this information. He was 27 when he married Barbara Cook in June 1888 and he was indeed a hall keeper. Thank you so much.  :)
