Wow, saved the best to the last.  I really enjoyed this episode especially with him finding his Jewish roots.  I'm still searching for mine, but getting there thanks to DNA testing.

What a lovely man, not at all "luvvie".

I really enjoyed this one. I don't know who Mark Wright is, but that was not important. Right from the start it was obvious that he was just an ordinary bloke from an ordinary family, who wanted to do something good for his grandfather "before it was too late". A sentiment that we can all relate to.

He found good things and bad things and took them all in his stride. A pleasure to watch.

I agree, it was much better than the others in this series and the subject, who was unknown to me, showed genuine interest. I found it very interesting.

I know who Mark Wright is - he's one of the original "Reality Stars" but at least he's stayed ordinary, unlike many of the others.

I also enjoyed this.

Did they actually show the record that proved they came from Spain (I like to know sources  ;) )?

The only thing that spoilt this were the TV trailers.  There was no mystery as we knew he was off to Spain.  Finding the unexpected is what makes this programme really interesting although I don't mind the Ag Labs at all.

The Radio Times told it all (total spoiler)

In the final episode of the series, former The Only Way is Essex star and presenter Mark Wright investigates his family history. First, he examines his father's side of the family, and uncovers surprising facts about his Sephardic Jewish ancestry and his relation to a master swordsman living in late 17th-century Andalucia. Mark's journey then takes him to Spain, where he is astonished to find out how one of his relatives survived the terror of the Spanish Inquisition, and another was burned at the stake. Last in the series.

I haven't seen this one yet. Its repeated late next Tuesday so will record it.

I wasn't actually looking forward to it that much as I'm sure the weekend papers said it wasn't one of the better ones. From the comments on here, it just shows how little they know!!

I know who he is but had never watched him in his reality show (Towie?) as its not my cup of tea. I believe he's married to Tina from Corrie?!!

I shall now look forward to watching. This series hasn't been bad at all - even the dreadful Whitehalls had some interesting content.
