Lisa, I can't even get to the home page. It's still just loading for me.  ???

Using Windows 10 and Google Chrome.

404 error messages on both sites now, I would think that means they are working on the fault.

Yep, both sites appear to be in full working order now. I think that server gives trouble fairly often on the search parts of those two sites, I get the impression you need to wait until they get into work in the mornings for a fix if it goes down after 5ish GMT.

Oh dear, they seem to have done some tidying and removed index entries for records where the images haven't yet been digitised, for example deaths before 1879 and marriages before 1864.

Just tested a number of pre 1879 deaths, where previously the index would return the death, but  have no group registration id number as there wasn't yet an image to view.  Now, the index entry is awol.

Maybe someone else would care to check that I haven't just imagined this.

Just tried a general search for deaths pre 1867 and marriages pre 1863, lots of results.
Can't say if any missing as I wasn't looking for one in particular.

Just checked as well.

The main difference pre 1878 (deaths) and pre 1864 (marriages) is that the SR District/Reg Area has lost its name and has now become N/R.

My ancestor Allen Nixon who died in Enniskillen in 1865 has now become:

Aha, I was searching using specific areas, so that's why none were showing. Hopefully they re-instate the 'area' again, as very confusing without it there.
