4 August 1817 - St John the Evangelist, Westminster - the only marriage record on that date:

John Better(s), bachelor, otp (x) and Han(n)ah North, spinster, otp (x) by Banns

I did only find it by looking by date, rather than searching for a surname.   :)

Hi Thanks all for your help. The reason I needed confirmation was from a removal order ( P91/ Len/1305) for Sarah Bettis -John Bettis daughter-in- law- in which it states that John Bettis and his wife Emma were married at St John the Evangelist Westminster on the 4 Aug 1817. So it looks like an error was made on the removal order. Once again thank you all for your help
Regards
