9 West Pilton Avenue is still there. It is about 5 minutes walk from my house in the opposite direction.

It would have taken Ada about 15 minutes to walk from her home to Gypsy Brae. Gypsy Brae leads down to the waters of the Firth of Forth. So I would assume that the poor lady was found on the foreshore.

You can use google maps to see both locations.
