cheers, I've been looking at the GRO and I couldn't find her, I was understanding that she died in December, aged in her 50s

Isn't age at death for the GRO entry quoted (llB 431) = "0 years"

I couldn't find a Reg Dist for Gaerwen under "Genuki Registration Districts.".   Nearby Llanddaniel Fâb comes under Bangor Reg District.I recall some confusion previously about Anglesey or Bangor as Reg. District in the early years.

This is her. The Anglesey death index has - Ellin Evans, age 53, died 13 Dec 1854 at Gaerwen, Llanfihangel Esgeifiog. She was described as the wife of collier William Evan. The informant was Ellin Evans (no address or relationship given). Reg. book-Beaumaris 07, page 25, no. 125.

Bangor Reg Dist includes Beaumaris sub-district. You will need to buy the death certificate if you want the cause of death.
