I tried the Presbyterian Society which was disappointing. The information they did have was incorrect!
I have had no luck with the Faesti either.

Strange as newspaper article was there a minute ago  :-\ I found it again by googling  'charles kennedy maghera presbyterian' and it was the first item.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Hi. Yes, Rev Charles Kennedy was born in 1781 in Dunboe. I have never been able to find anything on his family of origin. Its very frustrating that there is so little written about him given the length of time he was the minister of Maghera. I assume Margaret was probably born around the same time.
