Can't find a DC for Ann Robertson/Crow - St Cyrus.

Ann(e) Robertson is my 4x great-grandmother. I am unable to find a DC for her. I know she was alive post civil registration due to census info. Here is what I have on her so far. Would be grateful for any help.

She was born c.1782, Fordoun, Kincardineshire. Marries a John Cro(a)w, 1805 in Garvock. They have a following children;

Christina 1806 born Garvock. The rest are all born in St Cyrus.

James  1811
David  1813
Jane  1815
Ann  1819
George  1825

John and Ann are at St Cyrus in the 1851 and 1861 census at Village/Village Farm. Just the two of them each time.
Some trees online have an exact date of death for Ann as 15 Oct 1864. However, I cannot find a corresponding DC for her then? I've tried various names and spellings and also widened the date and still cannot find a likely candidate. The other trees don't have a certificate view able.

Other trees online also have named her parents as a John Robertson and Catherine Low, but cannot verify.

Just wondering if I'm doing something wrong with my searches, or it's indexed incorrectly/differently. Any help appreciated.

Go to Scotlandspeople and search for Ann Robertson, death year 1864 in Kinkardine. There are three possibilities that come up. The middle one in St. Cyrus age 83 looks a good candidate. You would need to buy the image to check out the details.

Got it, yes this is her.

Married to John Crow, Crofter, Residence; Village, St Cyrus, parents John Robertson and Catherine Low. I am unsure why this result wasn't appearing for me earlier. There was nothing for St Cyrus when I was searching Robertson/Ann* and 1864. I've found this a few times on SP when I know I've seen an index before.

You are welcome. Sometimes it is better to start with a wider search and narrow it down rather than being too specific with the criteria in the first search.

Hi,

She is my 4th great gran too. She died 15 October 1864 • Village, St Cyrus, Kincardineshire, Scotland from Senile Debility. When it was indexed it was indexed in Scotlandspeople unders her maiden name. Ref:267 16- it's listed as Robertson, Ann mother maiden name Low.

Her son David is my 3x great grandfather, he married an Ann(e) Beg(g).
