Yes I'm aware about the problem with the ancestry site, I've noticed 3 or 4 different birth dates/ death dates on other people's trees that have tried to connect to mine, I have birth dates and death dates, I've brought files like shipping and immigration, nswbdm certs, transcripts, photos, letters...so (mostly correct) as in the evidence and a few slight errors..as is with everyone's trees/lines..I live in Australia, when the Armstrong's in my line came here they went to NSW,  they were born in NSW except for James and eliza(elizabeth) who came here from Glasgow Lanarkshire Scotland.

Then why did you say 3 days ago.......

Cecial Roy Armstrong and Mary Armstrong married, also have a son Kenneth Vincent Armstrong who is my grandfather I think they moved from overseas to Australia as I can't find any information please help!

From what you now say, you knew that is not what happened.

A bit puzzling really.

However, it is good you are happy with what you have discovered -with or without the assistance  of the generous contributors in this forum!

There is no reason for anyone to remove the thread,  or any of the posts.   But it is good to know that you must  have been able to obtain NSW bdm certificates in these last three days, and that those certificates give you sufficient quality  information to confidentally establish and validate your ancestry back to the Bounty Emigration arrival in 1839.

PS  I am NSW born,  and so too my ancestors back into the penal era.  Large families .... one of my parents was one of 17 children,  the other parent was one of 15.   And my grandparents all came from big families,  and back, back,  back....   13 children was not unusual,  particularly in rural areas,  even in the decade post WWII.   TV and the Pill changed birth rates.
