Most of the Argument people seem to be from Whitby, Yorkshire. Free BMD.

It looks like Thomas was b Lofthouse Yks and was a brick and tile manufacturer
He married Fanny Mark in Yorks and had at least 2 children with her
Fanny died 1854 in Yorks
Thomas father Matthew) married Fanny's sister Catherine Mark (fatherMichael) 13/10/1855 St Margarets Yorks
They moved to Willington and had lots of children

I have Arguments in my family tree. They lived in Loftus or Lofthouse ( both spellings used) Thomas and Matthew Argument were my GG Grandmother’s brothers. I have a death for Matthew in Willington Co Durham in1892.
Northumberland: Robson, Richardson, Murray, Graham, Adam(s), Blyth, Smith, Oliver
Durham: Robe (Robb), Taylor, Alder
Yorkshire: Spence, Cockerell, Lawson Argument
Scotland: Sutherland
Wales: Powell
