Hi SusanSparrow,

Welcome to Rootschat.      :)

"Most" of us are very friendly.       ;D

Have a browse, should you have a specific question then select a relevant forum area and ask away

To talk to anyone offline then you need to make a couple more posts and the Personal Message system is available to you. Totally private between you and the person you talk to, and the site owners.

Cheers ( and enjoy )

Ray

Welcome to Rootschat.
You can put your interests on this thread, or there others dedicated to peoples' interests. There is also a surname interests page, available if you scroll to the bottom of the main page of the forum.
As Ray said, post a thread with any queries. Plenty of people on here to help.

Welcome to Rootschat. Yes you are correct, post 3 times and you can PM people. Check to see what's on Forum to see where to ask questions, if you want help with anything. There are some very knowledgeable and helpful people on here.

Happy searching. ;D

Welcome from me too  :).

Just to point out that the PM system is really for exchange of sensitive information, like names of living people or personal email addresses or information that cannot be put on a public forum. If other rootschatters are giving their time and expertise to help solve a problem or find information on a thread, this should always be put where everyone can see it so that work is not duplicated.
