Lewek Guttman deported to Auschwitz

Can anyone shed any history on Lewek Guttman? I want to know when he was arrested and about his background. As I am of Polish descent and I will be laying flowers during a ceremony of remembrance in September for this gentleman in the forest surrounding Lyon-La-Foret.

Tony, this is fantastic. Is there any way we can find out his last known address in Lyons-La-Forêt?

When it mentions convoy 49 does that mean the train that was used?

Sorry, I found info about convoy 49, very sad that 1000 wre on board, of those 881 were executed on arrival.

Is there anyway that we could find out if he was detailed to work or executed?

Any other info on his family would be great.
