Hi hepburn,

Quebec BMD's are the "Drouin Collection", Ancestry has them, as does Genealogy Quebec.
Genealogy Quebec offers a 24 hour sub for $5.00.....or if you wish you can post your name and
an RC'er can have a look for you.

Hi dbree,
his name is Henry atcherson carson born Montreal 1844....Ive looked at the free censuse's many times and never found him..He was also the subject of Tephra's Scavenger Hunt a few years ago.We didn't find him in Canada or any census in England before 1871,but I had great help from the RootsChatters in finding a lot of other ancestors and a wonderful tree was done for  which I
printed off..

[quote ...Christine53 and I found 3 children, but you mention you are looking for 4, you listed Oliva twice. DB

Thankyou. I didn't check the email before sending it  :o

The only other individual's details that I am looking for is Maria Merineau who appears on the 1881 census as a daughter of Amèdée Marineau & Anatalie Marineau c1880. Any thoughts on her.
Regards
Alan

Hi Sandra
Looks like the right individual. My French is lousy. Had it been in German or Hebrew, I would understand it :-)

Hi,

It says.......the 22 August 1885, we, the undersigned, have buried in the cemetery of this parish the body of Maria, daughter of Amadee Merineau, butcher and Nathalie St. Jean who died the 21st of the current month age 5 of the parish Saint Jean Baptiste. Witnesses Auguste A.A. Dubord and Ferdinand
Savage, both clerks (parish clerks I think, they also signed for all the others on the page).

You're welcome hazgraz :)

Hepburn, I haven't forgotten about you, but I see that the Scavenger Hunt is 30 + pages long.
I had a quick look for Henry's birth, but nothing. The records in that time frame can be spotty.
If I find anything else, I will post it on the Scavenger Hunt page, so that we don't hijack
hazgraz's post.
