No point in phoning them as their lines will be down too with the volume of calls  :'( :'(

Oh well just have to wait and see if it goes back up soon.

I just googled "clear cache to fix problems" and this was one of the posts in an old forum:

I'm in Norfolk,my cache has been cleaned up and I can't get Ancestry.Bet they would soon get it sorted if we all ask for a discount LOL
