Where is / was Malcalf in Derbyshire?

I have a quantity of old documents going back to the 17th century, and in the 18th century the village or farmstead of Malcalf in the High Peak area of Derbyshire keeps popping up. But I cannot locate where this was ... is anyone able to offer suggestions?

Possibly the group of buildings called “Malcoff” - just NE of Chapel-en-le-Frith (on the road from Wash to Slackhall).

Edit - not the direct road that goes through Bowden Hall, the narrower one to the north of that.

That's absolutely brilliant, thanks everyone.
Medpat these papers all relate to the Barber family, and claims by various people to his million pound estate which, as it turned out, had already been distributed shortly after his death.
Malcoff .... I would never in a million years have Googled that to solve the problem ...

Hi, I have just got a 1703 document for Malcalf that may be connected to yours. It is for moeity of a half of 2 bayes of buildings used as a barn at Malcaffe in the parish of Chappel en le Frith, also for parts of closes of land called Great Marshfield, Little Marshfield. The people concerened are John Fryth, Samuel his son, William Oldfield & William Walker all of Peake Forest, Derbyshire. I have looked on Google and there is a farm called Malcoff Farm and a peak called Malcoff nearby. The location appears to be as Ray T states, to be precise it is on the road from Slackhall, north north west and on the bend at the top of the road. The barn is probably the same one as in my document. Chris

Hi, if your recently bought it in an online auction then I probably sold it .. !
Otherwise it will definitely be from the same place. I unfortunately had to split the collection up having tried very hard to sell it as a complete lot.
