To help us look for details pertaining to Cornelius......

Historic Australian BMD records generally show a great deal of information, could you please list all information that you have from his marriage & death records.... his place of birth, year of birth (calculated from his age given at each occasion), occupation, fathers occupation, how long in country, marriage witnesses.

Could you also please explain how you know he has a sister Jane?

Cornelius Mortimer arrived in Australia in 1847. He married Bridget Bergin 1850 in Portland NSW.
They had David born 1850. Cornelius 1857 Rose 1859 and Edward. All born Victoria.
He is my 3 x great grandfather. If you could contact me I'd love to hear from you.
I too have been trying to find information on John and Mary Ann Griffiths.
