Re Thomas Moore born Dublin 1902
George Patrick Moore born Dublin 1904.

My father, Thomas and his brother lost their Mum and 4 sisters to TB over several years up until 1912.
Due to a serious bout of pneumonia their father was in hospital.

Reported by a teacher for being alone, they were picked up in the street by authorities.
The courts sent them to the trade school Carriglea. I have tried for many years to find the appropriate records but without success.
Recently I saw on ‘Who Do You Think You Are’ and heard of the NSPCC.
I was hoping someone on this site would be able to tell me how I could access these records.
I have written to places but I get no response.
Many thanks

Hi Sinann.
Wow that was prompt, thank you.

I have printed the forms and will send them off and find out what I can.
Several years ago I tried to find Carriglea records, even spoke to one of the Brothers who had worked there. I was told then that the records were not available for the 1912 period as no one new where they had gone.

Many thanks....here’s hoping.
Regards Seymor

Warning.
I'm not the better of having watch this and I didn't have family there, so you may find it quite disturbing.

Most reports online are later than the period your boys would have been there but this virtual tour tries to evoke a sense of what it was like.

Have you been in touch with one of Dublin local news papers to help you.  They could put something in the paper for people to come forward with information.  I think you need a newspaper help with this.
