Trying to reunite a medal with family

I have been having a clearout and found a medal that I think I picked up at a car boot sale or somewhere about 20 years ago that I meant to research but most stuff wasn’t online then

Anyway it’s a WW2 Medal with Palestine 1945-1948 bar on it it has the name H Dearden and the number T 14472826 round the edge and I have found the medal card entry on ancestry but not sure where to go from here as it simply says H Dearden on the card entry.

Now I have found an entry in forces war records but I don’t have access to that without paying
It says H Dearden same number driver opinion Royal Army Service Corps in 1950
Does anyone have access that could check him out.
Surname interests Soundie, Brookfield, Healey/Heeley, Frost, Handley, Goodall Weaver, Evans, Pagett, Waywell/Whaywell, Haimes, Jones, Roberts, Cummins Ryder, Bleasdale and Foley, Jackson, Robinson, Calvert and Grayson.
Searching in Liverpool, Shropshire, London, Worcester and Holywell, Stafford and Cheshire.  (and eventually in Ireland) :-)

I doubt that Forces War records will have any more information than you can see on their index as service records after 1920 including WW2 are all still with the MOD. 

It may be an idea to add his name and number to your heading, the Moderators can do it if you can no longer access it.

Agree with Rosie re Forces War Records. Put them into the Search box at the top of the page. There are several threads about them.
