I would like to know what the hospital records are they have, cause of death, any information etc..
According to the LMA online catalogue, the only record open to public access is the
Death Register (HL/U/HIL/024/B, covering 1943).
The only other relevant records they hold for that period are the
Military Admission and Casualty Registers. These are covered by the archive’s 100-year privacy rule for hospital records. Archive staff
may be able to extract any details found there for your ancestor, and send them to you, but no-one else is allowed access. LMA’s research fee is £80/hour.
