Looking for a grave in Wortley, Yorkshire

Hi, I have a relative called Charlotte Morris b.25.08.1891 and d.Sept 1969 - her husband, Frank Morris died in 1949 in Sheffield but I cannot locate a grave there. Can anyone help with locating Charlottes grave please?

If she died in 1969 the chances are that she was cremated rather than buried.

Have you looked at local newspapers from the time? Death notices often state where funeral is to be held & where to be buried/cremated. Scanned newspapers are available on findmypast or British Newspaper Archive though 1969 may be too recent. A main library [probably Sheffield] will have all published copies.

ADDED:She died 10 October at 22 Hey Road according to the Long Eaton Advertiser of 17 October.

Hi gnorman,

Charlotte Morris buried on 5 Sept 1969 in Crookes Cemetery, Sheffield.  Grave no 271, AA section, consecrated.  She died in Wharncliffe Hospital.

Also Frank Morris in same grave, buried on 27 Sep 1949.  He died in City General Hospital.

Also Gertrude Marian Howard buried 13 July 1995.
