Help deciphering mill job please.
« on: Saturday 18 May 19 11:53 BST (UK) »
Hi, I wonder if some kind soul can decipher this job on a census. I'm pretty sure it was in a mill because of the later job he had, and the jobs of other family members and people in the area. I've been staring at it for months and getting nowhere - although I think it is 'card -something', it doesn't fit with any mill jobs which include the word card that I've been able to find.

Thank you for reading!
