Caleb Singleton
« on: Thursday 16 May 19 19:53 BST (UK) »
I am looking for the parents of Caleb Singleton. I've come to a dead end with him. I know he married Elizabeth Hall but got no wedding date. They had a son, Joshua in 1663.If anyone could help that would be great.
Thankyou
Trevor.

You do know that the West Riding is one (if not the) biggest county in England?
Whereabouts is this?

What other kids did they baptise? (names, dates and location)

Yes sorry, should have read through it before posting. They were from Huddersfield. Don't have any more information though.

So those records should be on familysearch.
Use it, itll help indicate a likely marriage date.

Yes, Family Search, already 'used it', and also Ancestry, 'used it' , as well. That's why I'm asking. Nothing there.
Thanks.

Yeah, thats one of the (likely) siblings of Joshua that i spotted.
There was also what could be some cousins.

Nothing to give a mother's name to any of 'em though.

Where did you find that he married Elizabeth Hall.

Baptisms on familysearch at St Peter, Huddersfield for children of a Caleb Singleton are 1646, 1651, 1657, 1660, 1663, 1668 & 1670.  If they are all the same parents then the marriage would be a lot earlier than you are suggesting with a 1663 birth of a child.
