« on: Thursday 16 May 19 02:06 BST (UK) »
Hi Everyone,

The fantastic set of three volumes prepared by the late Ian Nicholson have been available as pdfs since 2013... downloadable

https://zenodo.org/record/6901

The website says they were scanned '... as part of the ACRE (Atmospheric Circulation Reconstructions across Earth) data rescue effort. Cited in Chappell, P. and Lorrey, A.M. 2013. Identifying New Zealand, Southeast Australia and Southwest Pacific historical weather data sources using Ian Nicolson’s Log of Logs. Geoscience Data Journal, in press'

MAJM can this be put on the Australia Resources board please?
As Beth says, there is great info in these books which are a largely unknown resource.
Thanks

Hi Beth and Dawn

I actually hope that by me starting this thread on this board, that our Global Moderator would leave it here on this main board for a while longer, so that RChatters can actually spot it.  Once it has been widely read, then perhaps any of us could ask for it to be moved to the Resources board.   :D

Just my view, and of course any RChatter can use the Report to Moderator button and ask for consideration be given to move it anywhere.   :D
