In Glasgow Herald 28 November 1883 there is an article regarding the annual meeting for the Glasgow Hospital. The meeting was held in the lecture hall of the institution at North Portland Street.

Hi Tracey, the name of the maternity hospital you are looking for would be  Rottenrow., the other maternity hospital in Glasgow the Queen mothers maternity. If you are looking for information on ancestors  scotlandspeople is a  website you should go to.

Practically every maternity hospital that I have visited is the same!
Tannahill:  Ayrshire, Renfrewshire
Mulgrew/Milgrew:  Glasgow
Canning: Renfrewshire
