Arthur Wood - Sarah Thorpe Marriage

Hello  I am trying to find the origins of Arthur Wood who lived near Otley. He married Sarah Thorpe in 1934 Wharfedale 9a 285. However I do not know his birth or death dates.  I am hoping someone can help find the missing Arthur and his parents for me as he a missing piece in my family tree.

YorkshireBMD says that the marriage took place at "Methodist Church Pool" Leeds.

Added:  I think, but not sure, that Leeds is where the records are kept, and that Pool (in Wharfedale) is the location.

You could look for the couple on the 1939 register which gives dates of birth.

Have you checked the Birth Marriage Death registers for a death for him?

How about Sarah have you a death date for her?

There's a family tree with his father as John Wood and a baptism for Arthur 16 Oct 1898 so you might want to check that information out

I have Sarah on 1939 census with her in laws but no sign of Arthur. I will check the family tree out . Thank you

The tree is on ancestry and called Dean Family Tree.

I have checked the tree and it doesn't have any information other than the marriage

So sorry it must have been a different tree but have looked and looked and can't find it again
