That Seaburgh in Yorkshire is probabably a misreading of Sedbergh, now Cumbria.

I went to school in Devonshire Road (my son now lives in the same road!). My best school friend came from Dorrit Street - I'll definitely look up your link - so thanks for that - amazing how memories keep flooding back from nowhere (well the 1950s!)

There's a chap who is quite knowledgeable about Liverpool Cowkeepers, Dave Joy.
He's written books about the subject, and done some talk-tours at least in the north of England. There was a thread on here about it  not clever enough to provide a link, but if you put "Liverpool Cowkeepers" in as a search, it'll come up, and you'll be able to go to other sites from it.
The Dave joy chap may well be able to help you on that query.
Threlfall (Southport), Isherwood (lancs & Canada), Newbould + Topliss(Derby), Keating & Cummins (Ireland + lancs), Fisher, Strong& Casson (all Cumberland) & Downie & Bowie, Linlithgow area Scotland . Also interested in Leigh& Burrows,(Lancashire) Griffiths (Shropshire & lancs), Leaver (Lancs/Yorks) & Anderson(Cumberland and very elusive)

Funnily enough when I was little our milkman was Mr Joy whose cart was pulled by a carthorse - just after the war. Must be the same family!

Unfortunately the Irish family isn't the one I was looking for - it would have been quite a coincidence! However it's been a trip down memory lane - things I'd forgotten - so thanks to everyone.

I may be wrong, but would imagine Seaberg is meant to be Sedbergh.
Woof is a fairly common name in South Lakeland.

Left Liverpool quite a time ago, though went to school there. My mum married the cow-keeper from Park Road later in life so I knew nothing about the family, but have been fascinated by what I've learnt. It's only recently I realised the Mr Joy who delivered our milk (during WW2) had actually lived in the same house as my stepfather in Park Road. I'd hoped to tie up the connection with a Northern Irish family also cowkeepers in Park Road, but there isn't a connection. But you never stop learning in genealogy!

Felix Allen and Ada Beck are close direct line relatives.
I am confused because we have no knowledge at all of him being a step father to anybody, so I'm interested in how you think he is.
I could tell you the information you are asking for, but I would rather do so outside of this application so I'm not sure ho we can do it.
You may know better if you use the application more than I do.
